Commercial Construction Carpenter

Founded in 1995, B&C Enterprises, Inc. is a commercial general contractor serving the Northwest Chicago suburbs. We specialize in commercial renovations, office buildouts, and pre-engineered steel buildings. Our team is committed to safety, craftsmanship, and long-term employee development.

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter with 2-3 years of construction experience to join our growing team. This role involves commercial renovations, steel building assembly, framing, and jobsite coordination. We are looking for dependable professionals who take pride in quality workmanship and safe jobsite practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Assist with project layout per architectural plans
• Install steel and wood framing
• Assist in assembling pre-engineered metal buildings
• Safely operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers
• Load, unload, and organize jobsite materials and tools
• Perform demolition and debris removal as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Follow OSHA standards and wear required PPE

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of carpentry or general construction experience
• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Ability to work at heights using ladders and lifts
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
